In the month of May I found out that my application was accepted to the Builder Track for Horizon Worlds! I didn’t think it was something I would get chosen to do because I wasn’t part of the original launch program. The rules said you had to be part of that to apply, but I submitted my idea anyways! I am so excited to be given the opportunity to see my ideas come to life and get hands on training from mentors and known game designers! It’s so much more than just a game though. (Thank you to those that reached out to me with encouragement!! )
The initial Bootcamp was super inspiring and gave us an overview of what to expect throughout the competition. Being in the 1st cohort of builders was and is such a complete honor.
Final submission for builder track worlds was on June 24th at 5PM ET. I spent a little over 60 hours on my entry but probably could have spent another 10 – but I ran out of time. I loved creating this world!
I was inspired to create a coloring world in particular because I can’t sit still, lol – I prefer to color vs. meditate. It is relaxing to me – and I am super proud of this world and the adventure it became. 🙂Â
Embark on an adventure into RGB planet where you’ll find the color gobbler has escaped his chambers and eaten all the color! Papa Gnomely has hid backup colors throughout the world, in many different forms. It is up to you to recolor RGB Planet & capture the Color Gobbler! Earn Points, Complete Achievements or just have fun coloring! This world Is perfect for all ages. It can be played with up to 5 players, but I designed the world so that all challenges can be completed solo.
A few tips:
- There is a reset button on the left wall, in between the red and blue tower in case things get stuck and don’t re-spawn properly.
- Use the “helping hand” to hit the color balls into the mushrooms. That is how you get points.
- There is a mini color wheel that can be carried around that doesn’t have a re-spawn attached to it.
- If you hold on tight to the color balls from any chamber, you can bring them outside a chamber to color Mushroom Forrest.
Happy Coloring!
